Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 2024-01-25

At EBRAHOME, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality pergolas that combine durability, functionality, and design. We offer a 1-year limited warranty on both the pergola construction and motor to ensure that our customers can enjoy their outdoor spaces with confidence. However, for your safety and the longevity of your pergola, it is important to adhere to certain conditions to prevent the warranty from being voided.

1. Scope of the Warranty

1.1 1-Year Warranty on Pergola Construction

We provide a 1-year limited warranty that covers any manufacturing defects in the structure, frame, or hardware components of your pergola. This warranty ensures the structural integrity of your pergola under normal use and proper installation conditions.

1.2 1-Year Warranty on Pergola Motor

For motorized pergolas, we offer a 1-year limited warranty on the motor and electrical components. This warranty covers any defects in the motor system, including wiring and operational components, ensuring that your motorized pergola operates smoothly as intended.

2. What Is Covered

The warranty covers the following defects:

2.1 Pergola Construction
  • Structural Integrity: Any issues with the frame or supporting components caused by defects in materials or poor craftsmanship.
  • Hardware Failure: Defects in screws, bolts, brackets, or other fasteners that impact the stability or safety of the pergola.
2.2 Pergola Motor
  • Motor Malfunction: Any defects in the motor that prevent it from operating or controlling the pergola as intended.
  • Electrical Issues: Any failures related to wiring, switches, or control systems that are critical to the operation of the motor.

3. What Is Not Covered

To maintain the warranty’s validity, it is important to follow the instructions for installation, use, and maintenance. The warranty does not cover:

3.1 Installation-Related Issues
  • Improper Installation: Damage caused by failure to follow EBRAHOME’s recommended installation procedures, or installation carried out by non-certified professionals. If the pergola is not installed properly, structural or motor issues may arise, which will void the warranty.
  • Non-Level Surfaces: Damage caused by installing the pergola on unstable or uneven ground, which can lead to warping, bending, or collapse.
3.2 Environmental and Weather Damage
  • Weather-Related Wear and Tear: Damage caused by excessive wind, rain, snow, or exposure to extreme temperatures. We advise customers to take precautionary measures (e.g., retracting the pergola in severe weather) to avoid damage.
  • Natural Wear and Tear: Expected degradation over time, including fading, minor rust, or surface scratches, is not covered.
3.3 Misuse or Neglect
  • Neglect or Lack of Maintenance: Failure to perform regular maintenance, such as cleaning the motor, lubricating moving parts, or removing debris, can lead to issues not covered by the warranty.
  • Misuse or Accidental Damage: Damage caused by overloading the pergola, using the motor beyond its operational limits, or accidental impacts (e.g., from furniture or heavy objects).
3.4 Unauthorized Modifications
  • Alterations to the Structure: Any modifications to the frame, hardware, or motor that are not authorized by EBRAHOME will void the warranty. This includes using non-EBRAHOME parts for repair or modification.

4. Warranty Conditions and Security Measures

4.1 Professional Installation

To ensure the pergola is installed correctly and securely, we recommend that all installations be performed by EBRAHOME-approved professionals. Installation by unqualified personnel can result in safety hazards, structural instability, and will void the warranty. You must follow all installation guidelines and ensure that:

  • The pergola is anchored on a stable, level surface.
  • Proper tools and techniques are used in securing the structure.
  • Motorized components are correctly wired and connected to a reliable power source.
4.2 Safe Use and Operation
  • Motor Care: To maximize the lifespan of your motor, avoid overloading the system. If the motor shows signs of wear (e.g., unusual noise or slow response), immediately discontinue use and contact EBRAHOME for evaluation.
  • Regular Inspections: Periodically inspect the pergola for any signs of structural wear, rusting of hardware, or weakening of the frame. Early detection of issues can prevent significant damage and help maintain the warranty coverage.
4.3 Maintenance Responsibilities
  • Routine Cleaning: Regularly clean the pergola and its motorized parts to prevent dirt or debris buildup, which could interfere with functionality.
  • Lubrication: Lubricate moving parts, such as motorized hinges, to reduce friction and prolong the motor’s life.

Failure to follow these maintenance guidelines may void the warranty on both the pergola construction and motor.
